This toolkit provides a selection of 100 participatory learning and action (PLA) tools, which can be used for community mobilisation on HIV/AIDS. PLA tools are interactive activities, which enable communities and organisations to learn together about HIV/AIDS in their community, develop a plan, act on it and evaluate and reflect on how it went.
The 100 tools are organised in the following sequenced sections:
The kit is available with a second resource, "All Together Now," that helps communities create the participatory organisation steps. These 100 activities plug into each step.

- Overview of how to facilitate, plan, and train facilitators for using the toolkit;
- Mapping for organising a community;
- Time analysis tools to help the community plan for change;
- Linkages and relationships to increase understanding of HIV/AIDS causes and effects;
- Experimental tools for a deeper understanding of HIV/AIDS;
- Prioritisation tools to help quantify and rank effects of HIV/AIDS;
- Action planning tools for addressing causes and effects;
- Training and organising tools for the community; and
- Resources on PLA and HIV/AIDS.
